Where Children Come First

Every quarter we run Messy Church in place of our usual Sunday service.

Messy Church is a unique and exciting approach to the Christian faith that caters to individuals and families of all ages. If you're unsure about a traditional Sunday service and yearn for something different, Messy Church is the perfect fit for you!

At Messy Church, we embrace the beautiful chaos of life and provide a safe space for people to explore their faith in a fun and interactive manner. Our gatherings are filled with hands-on activities, crafts, games, and messy play, designed to ignite your imagination and deepen your spiritual connection. Whether you're a child, a teenager, a parent, or a grandparent, there's something for everyone at Messy Church!

Each session at Messy Church revolves around a specific theme, drawn from biblical stories, parables, or Christian values. We encourage active participation, inviting you to dive into the theme through creative projects, collaborative games, and thought-provoking discussions over a FREE lunch. You'll have the opportunity to make new friends, build relationships within the community, and experience the joy of learning and growing together.

So, come as you are, with your curiosity, your questions, and your eagerness to connect with others on a deeper level. Join us at Messy Church and embark on an unforgettable journey of faith, fellowship, and messy fun!

When is Messy Church?

Messy Church will run on the 30th of June.

All Messy Church sessions start at 10:30 am and finish with a shared FREE lunch at midday.

  • Just yourself! all materials, crafts, games, and lunch is all provided for free.

  • Messy Church Sundays are for all ages. We strongly believe life is better when we do it together. So whether you are a grandparent, a parent, or a child Messy Church Sundays are for you!

  • We will begin at 10:30am with a very warm welcome (teas and coffees available beforehand), and then we will sing a child-friendly song. After the song, there will be lots of stations for everyone to engage in various crafts and activities around the main topic. We will have a short story/talk about the topic, then we will each lunch together discussing the topic and life on our tables. Messy Church is informal and fun, designed to be as accessible as possible.
